STUDENT DAWAH COUNCIL: Giving Dawah is an amazing act of worship
"Giving Dawah is an amazing act of worship" means that inviting others to Islam, both Muslims and non-Muslims, by sharing the message of Allah and the teachings of the Prophet Muhammad (PBUH) is a virtuous and rewarding form of worship. This practice is considered "amazing" because it is a fundamental religious duty, a way to earn spiritual rewards, and an effective method to spread goodness and bring people closer to God, even when faced with rejection or hardship.
Upper-Secondary students have
practiced this for quite long in our monthly event which we call Bright Muslim
Conference or BMC. This practice involves educating other students or peers
about the core beliefs and principles of Islam, clarifying misconceptions, and
providing evidence and proof.
Dawah is an encouragement for
Upper Secondary Students since dawah serves as a reminder and encouragement to
stay closer to Allah and practice their faith. A powerful form of dawah is
living a life that reflects Islamic principles, demonstrating kindness,
honesty, and good manners as a role model for others.
In other words, dawah Is
"Amazing" because it is considered a command from Allah, making it a
central obligation for Muslims. It is also a virtuous act of worship that is believed
to bring multiple spiritual rewards and is better than worldly possessions. In
addition to that like the prophets of the past, those who give dawah may face
challenges but are encouraged to persevere with patience, knowing that Allah
will reward their efforts.
